DPD courier services
DPD collects and delivers parcels of up to 31.5 kg on a daily basis, from Monday to Friday, in Poland, Ireland and other European Union countries.
The standard delivery time is 2-6 business days, depending on the route.
DPD Poland:
- has two central sorting facilities: one in Stryków near Łódź and the other in Rawa Mazowiecka;
- has four sorting centres (in Gdańsk, Warsaw, Poznań and Gliwice);
- operates a fleet of 470 lorries that travel 230,000 km every day;
- carries an average of 330,000 parcels daily;
- delivered 88 million parcels in 2014;
- has approx. 6,000 couriers;
- occupies approx. 150,000 sq. m of warehouse space.
The DPD network:
- more than 3 million parcels every day,
- 46,000 employees and partners,
- 830 branches in more than 40 countries,
- a fleet of 18,000 vehicles.
DPD’s customers include Adidas, Würth, Esprit, EMI, Intersport, Yamaha and MGL Metro.
